Feeling Honored to Support HWPL's Peace Efforts on Its 10th Anniversary

 Today, I had the privilege of watching the 10th Anniversary of the HWPL 9.18 World Peace Summit via YouTube, and I was deeply moved. As someone who has always supported HWPL’s peace initiatives, being able to virtually attend this meaningful event brought me immense happiness.

The scale of the event, with over 100,000 attendees, was truly astounding. It was inspiring to see people from around the world coming together both online and offline to share the message of peace. HWPL Chairman Man Hee Lee's speech, where he encouraged us to "unite through love and peace to save the world," left a lasting impact on me.

Reflecting on the past decade of HWPL’s remarkable peace achievements, particularly the Mindanao Peace Agreement, I could see the tangible results of true peace efforts. I was also deeply impressed by the launch of the "Walk Together" campaign, uniting various civil society groups to foster cooperation and reduce societal conflicts across generations, regions, and ideologies. HWPL’s commitment to overcoming these divisions is a mission I believe many people will resonate with and join.

I will continue to support HWPL's peaceful endeavors and hope we can all become peace messengers, working together to create a better, harmonious world.

 Last year, the 9th HWPL 9.18 World Peace Summit, held under the theme of "Building Multidimensional Strategies for Institutional Peace," was a resounding success. World leaders and peace activists gathered to discuss various strategies for peace, drawing significant attention from the international community. This event highlighted that peace is not just an ideal but can be realized through practical institutions and cooperation.

This year, the HWPL 9.18 World Peace Summit celebrates its 10th anniversary! The theme for this year’s event is "Creating World Peace Community Through Regional Collaboration," aiming to build a stronger network of peace through regional cooperation. Building on the achievements of the past nine years, we anticipate deeper discussions and more concrete collaboration strategies at this year’s summit.
